“City Matters” fan committee

I’m certainly intending to ask. Whether I’ll get an answer, or at least one I can make public, is another matter. The other issue is that if the club do this and find someone in the Tunnel Club who pays £30k a year for 2 tickets, for example, has provided them, realistically what are they going to do?
Ok, all you can do is ask the question. Even if you don't get a satisfactory answer, the fact that they know that we know what they are doing might give you some leverage with other things.
I understand that it would be difficult with tunnel club members like you say but realistically are people who can afford to be in the tunnel club going to be looking to make maybe £50 on match tickets? It's more likely that it is the lesser corporates making a few quid to help pay for their 93.20's or Joe's season tickets and in any case whoever is caught doing it can be reminded that they shouldn't be doing it and if caught again will be banned from applying for tickets again on safety grounds.

City have 1200 or so die hards...home and awayers who never miss. Every game give or take a few they are there.
That leaves plenty of tickets for everyone else....if the average away allocation 2200
The die hards will be at newcastle on tuesday. The die hards were at liverpool after the cup final when we didnt sell out (city not selling out at anfield is news at 10 stuff imo). The die hards were at reading after the cup final when bobby manc was sacked - probably only 1300 there if that. Norwich away when we took the smaller allocation, add Swansea to that and even arsenal, spuds and Chelsea...again we took the smaller allocation and struggled to sell out....the die hards were there.

The JCL / prawn sandwich wont be at newcastle.

i dont give a flying f*ck what city matters suggest should happen to away ticket allocation....but the moment they, the club and the jcl attack the die hard they can F*CK OFF.
Whilst I’ve ‘liked’ your post I think your numbers are a little high.
I’d say there were no more than 6 or 7 hundred who are in that category.
And I think you’re right. Just imagine if these fans are entered into a ballot they may just not bother with the low profile/hard to get to games and take their chances in a ballot for the high profile ones, then let’s just see how it looks on a wet Wednesday in Swansea when they’re not there and not replaced by the ones wanting a ballot.

We've got a meeting on Feb 1st to start talking about ticketing specifically, including the website. We've asked the club for a list of things that weren't working as planned and that they've sorted out on the new site. We want to know what's still not right and what we're just going to have to get used to because it's working the way it should.

Is it ticketing as a whole or just the website?

Two questions i would like to ask if it is as a whole is:-

1) why are we unable to purchase match tickets online on the day of the game? it's 2019 and if you can do it at Cineworld, surely we can do it at the club?
2) can the ticket office on matchdays be streamlined? Whether you want to buy a ticket, collect one or the ticket you bought does not work, you go in to one huge que. There were problems with fans /cards tickets not being activated on Saturday and the majority of them were stuck behind people who were umming and ahing which seat they wished to choose which resulted in some of them missing start of the game through no fault of their own. If fans wish to turn up late and buy a ticket, if they are late to enter the ground that is the risk they have taken. I feel it is unfair for fans who have purchased tickets way in advance and got to the ground in enough time to have to join the same que when the club have failed to activate cards/tickets that have been purchased.

Daughter had exactly the same issue, for the third time this season!
Her card wasn’t activated but mine was. They couldn’t organise the proverbial brewery tour.

Could the CM reps ask for a breakdown of the following
How many supporters on the Champions league, FA cup and League cup schemes ?
How many supporters in each bracket of the points scheme taking each bracket as a 1000 points ?

At least then we might get some idea of where we all sit in the grand scheme of things ticket wise .

@Prestwich_Blue could you ask the club for this info at the next meeting please ?

Sky sports are reporting that the scum are yet again freezing season card prices for next season , maybe our reps can ask the club if they intend to freeze ours or raise them ?

Today's news on mancity.com:
https://www.mancity.com/news/club-news/club-news/2019/march/cfg-launch-global-startup-challenge

Are BM lads involved in that concept in some way?
What the Ek are they on about ? all they have to do is spend 10 minutes on here and there problems would be solved .If they think City Matters is worth while why bother with this "challenge" at all ? They send surveys round that don't get acted upon .this is just another way of people thinking they are important
