MoneyPossibly, but if we ask the question it puts pressure on them, if that is the case.
If they are complicit, then why? What have the club got to gain from doing it?

Genuine question, are you really suggesting City would do this to make a very small amount of money? In the grand scheme of things.Money
Whilst also trying to build up a ‘new’ fan base? Without a doubt.Genuine question, are you really suggesting City would do this to make a very small amount of money? In the grand scheme of things.

Arguably way so many FOCs seem to have bother with either showsec or City’s own militia.Exactly. The money element is not the cost of a ticket but the fact that older supporters in the main don't spend money on other things. I'm a good example as I spend nothing on food and drink, in the store or even buying a programme and next season I'll be paying FOC rate. From a marketing perspective the club has far too many supporters like me and nowhere near enough corporate members, tourists and younger fans generally. These are the types of supporter that the club wants to attract and in my view the way they will do that is too discourage older, long term fans from sticking around past their usefulness date.

I’m not in the least bit surprised.I have never had any bother with showsec or indeed any steward.
We've got a meeting on Feb 1st to start talking about ticketing specifically, including the website. We've asked the club for a list of things that weren't working as planned and that they've sorted out on the new site. We want to know what's still not right and what we're just going to have to get used to because it's working the way it should.
