The club seem very naive when it comes to dealing with scousers.

If he had any honour he’d resign (or fuck off) from his position with immediate effect. I am sure I remember Dave Wallace saying when he was the token fan on the board he was asked to leave the room whenever anything important was being discussed, but for this chairman to do it to his colleagues on the committee is a disgrace

Even if it was a woman it should just be Chairman. The ‘man’ denotes huMAN.
