This 40 year record of Aris needs putting into some perspective, in 40 years including tonight its actually 25 games, and probably most are in the early stages of the UEFA cup.

Its a decent record, but to put it in perspective we've not lost at home in europe for 40 years either, Chelsea 0-1 1971 cup winner cup semi final.

half way trough feb and we are only out of the leage cup and there are only two teams above us in the league, i expect us to beat county and villa in the fa cup this would leave us one game away from a wembley semi final, i expect us to finish aris off at home and progress further with the choice of the two teams we would face in the following round this would leave us two rounds from a dublin final. fukin terrible times are they not

No need, glad you'd remembered, I'd erased that one, I was thorough enough to check all the previous years so as not to make an aris of myself.....doh.

Greek teams are playing them every week and they have probably been sussed out from last season's games and 1st games that their opposition has already played against them.

Our staff have obviously been following them but there's only so much you can pick up on video and they will have been seen in the flesh only a couple of times. RM's had a good look at them now, 0-0 is fine, we'll just rip them to pieces at home.

Haha, to be fair, the only thing I remember about that game is that I was very cold that night, despite it being August. And if that's all you can remember of a game, then nothing much could have happened in it. ;o)

i think there are some great teams of the past and the present among these 26 games
