0-0

Any big club in Europe aspires to win their home games and at least draw the away games. A draw away a ground like that, with 10 men behind the ball all game is a good enough result. The true test is when we have to play at home, we have to show real intent, a real desire to win the game. I'm not sure that'll happen but that's how we have to approach two legged ties if we're to be recognised as one of Europe's best.

would have taken the draw and we are now in the driving seat

why do you assume Aris will play any differently, or be any easier to break down at home ?

Job, could and should have been done last night. very poor performance

good enough? I believe so

result agree, will (probably / hopefully) be good enough, performance definitely not. Im fully aware of their unbeaten home record, and this seasons victory over Athletico, but Aris were unbelievably poor, and our efforts (?) to beat them even worse!

Any draw away from home in the first leg is a good result but I can't help but think of the carling cup semi final first leg last season. We had a chance to seal the tie in the first leg and then the second leg, well we all know what happened there.

I thought some of our passing was poor last night, build up play was slow although there were some positives such as clean sheet, Dzeko getting more match practice with a new team, mario's back and looked decent.

It's not all doom and gloom but I think we could of done better.
