Seat of the pants stuff but job half done. We've thrown away too many leads this season by going gung ho and throwing men forward, cant blame Bobby for shutting up shop and grinding out the win.

Delighted we won (obviously) but if we go to the swamp and try to protect the lead we have we will lose. We need another goal at least to get us to the final.

Yes, we beat them on the night and that's was matters now, let's worry about the 2nd leg on the day. Not that there's much to worry about. Let's all do the Tevez.
 
no,i thought we started slow an got slower for 30minutes,we just invited them to come at us an that was obvious from the line up,zab left midfield wft ?the best way to beat scum is by getting in there face an having a go at them which we did after going a goal down an they didnt like it,fortunate pen i thought but who gives a fck,20 mins of second half we had a right go at them an deservedly took the lead but to take tevez off was criminal imo,swp ok he wasnt match fit,but why not ireland instead of the old fella?we just invited them to come at us wave after wave ffs im knackered but a win is a win is a win so gotta be happy with that,i just hope we dont start like that at the swamp cos i dont think we would hold out,get at the cnutss from the off there defence is shit
 
Very happy with the outcome all things considered. Given saved us on a number of occasions, anyone questioning his place should eat their words. We defended poorly but that's to be expected when many of our defenders are poor defenders. To escape with any sort of a lead is a fantastic outcome and I'm buzzing!
 
Serious? The backing off Rooney whenever he had the ball said it all for me. They had a hell of a lot of chances for another away goal. Not trying to be naegative, but I think we can do so, so much better than that in the second leg!
