I don't think anyone who doesnt think it should take place has suggested they are tempted or feel the need to disrupt any minutes silence that may or may not happen.

Who is the miserable fucker again?

Not me ! I aint the one complaining that "we have too many of these nowadays" so stop trying to pass the buck.If you don`t want to be involved then just keep the fuck away for that one minute.Simple solution.

Most people are capable of sitting through a minutes silence whether they agree with it or not. No need to send them out onto the concourse like naughty schoolchildren just because they don't agree with your narrow point of view.

I`m saying that if we know in advance there is going to be any form of celebration for Alan, those people who are not in favour of it,should stay on the concourse until such time they feel they are in no way celebrating it.I`ve never asked or told people to send them out.
Talk about my narrow mindedness. You only need look in a fucking mirror.

Once again, you can have an opinion that it is not the right thing to do, and still respect it if it does happen. No one in thread thread has suggested that they won't be able to fully observe and respect anything that does take place.

You`re the person who keeps bringing up the fact that people could be disruptive, not me sunshine. All I`m suggesting is that for those people who do NOT wish to contribute something positive then just stay away for a minute.
You seem to getting your knickers in a twist for someone who doesn`t "like" this sort of thing as its now being done on a continual basis.
Keep digging that hole.

I am not bringing up the fact that people will be disruptive, I am saying that no-one in this thread has suggested they feel any need to be. And in that case there is no need for anyone to go out to the concourse, or "go for a shite".

My knickers are quite untwisted.

Guys give it up !!!! agree to disagree
I kind of see internet message boards as places where you can disagree with someone and have a discussion about it.

If everyone refused to discuss stuff with anyone they disagreed with it would make for a pretty quiet forum.

No we won't, who are you to tell us if we're arguing or not, and where are your facts to back this up...

Pictures going around on facebook stating there will be an applause before the match and on the 47th minute

One or the other, surely?

Much sympathy to Alan's family and not in anyway minimising what a terrible thing his murder was, but we are not Liverpool. Let football be football. A lot of us go to the match to enjoy it.

I'm with you on this, plus with the sensitive situation over there at the moment its best to keep out of it as a club.
