I don't think we would bring in a marquee player or any kind of proven striker as well as Villa.

He would want to leave Barca to play more not sat on the bench for his final few years.

If we bring in Villa we keep Guidetti and bring him in slowly. We can't bring in Villa and then another signing eg Muriel or Cavani etc.

Id say our 2 top class strikers and guidetti as a backup is enough, especially if we are only playing one single striker.
We might bring 1 top striker in, but i dont know really. Pellegrini might be a fan of giving his strikers a lot of games so there is continuity in it, instead of switching between 4 class strikers.. that is just to much.
Funny hearing all these blues raving for 2 class strikers really.

If there is truth in offering Dzeko for Lewandowski then it looks like a major overall up front.

If and it's a big if we get Lewandowski and Dzeko goes I still see us in for a cover striker in either Michu or Benteke and can see Guidetti out on loan.
