I think he's a left winger, him and Sterling got in each other's way a bit so it needs to be either or IMO.

KDB and Gundo are our best midfield combination.

some good stuff from him, one of the better ones out there, like that he is looking to make something happen.
but in the end his discipline wasnt that good when he got the yellow and straight after he left his feet in a strong challenge, with another ref it could have resulted a second yellow.

he will need discipline as wherever we play away he will be booed and all the faults against him will generate big reaction from the stands on a way higher level than when it happened at Villa.

I wonder how Pep is planing to solve tactically Sterling and Grealish mainly playing on same side. in some Euros game Sterling played from right next to Kane who was dropping deeper and Grealish from left in those limited periods when all 3 was on the pitch.

imo thats the best way for us too to use them.

Started quite well, did some good things, but held onto the ball far too long when he got it. Him Mendy and Sterling kept taking up each other’s space n’all.

As the game went on he started to drift out of the game.

Poor tactics from Pep using him where he did because his positioning left Gundogan overrun in midfield. Grealish just stuck out wide and neither Sterling nor Mendy were tucking in and this is the root of all our problems today. Santos worked us out after 15 minutes, dropped his players into the space where Grealish wasn’t taking up a position in the middle of midfield and that’s where we lost the game today.

Thought he tracked back well and put in some good tackles, we seen a glimpse of what's to come when de bruyne came on
