Did everything but score against Watford and had an excellent game taking on the opposition instead of playing the easy ball , but he needs goals to compliment his contribution to the team , all players go through spells when the ball wont go in the net. Jack's quality will shine through in the end such a clever and skilfull player and takes two or three defenders out of the game everytime he recieves the ball.

Will Grealish improve under Pep? Most likely, yes.
Will he be the difference maker for City, i.e will he be the one to lead City to Champions League glory, the guy that drags the team along when things aren't going well? I don't think so.
He might go on to become City's best player in a Premier league season, but you don't spend 100 million to win a trophy you've won 3 times in 5 years
City are a team, a perfect engine that requires each cog to produce and do their part. We don’t rely on big players to drag us to trophies like a lot of the red shite.
He will play his part and leave the one man teams counting their wages whilst he counts his trophies.
The fact you mention his transfer fee to try and dig him out just makes you sound like another bitter ****, and we’ve got a few on the thread already.

100m for a player who takes up a position where we need scorers, who's weakest arrribute is scoring. Shite business. The guy Nkuku would have cost half and probably been a much better fit. Pep needs to sort Jack's issues out or he will be a liability. He had already missed lots of important gilt edged chances in front of goal. The one against Chelsea nearly cost us. Today it didnt cause pressure as we are on a different level from Watford. If you want to play in our forward line you should be comfortable in front of goal. Simple as that.
Grealish has never been a prolific goal scorer , blaming the player for our own recruitment issues is ridiculous , we needed a striker and Kane was the target , Grealish is not shite business he is an excellent footballer and its well known there is a premium to be paid for English players , more than likely Grealish does not want to play in our "forward line" but is doing a job for the team because we didnt sign the striker we needed.
As for Nkunku he might look OK in the Bundesliga but so did Sancho.

Looked way off the level of the rest for me and should have scored 4. Everybody else is chipping in, his numbers are beginning to look rather unfavourable in comparison. if sterling or jesus wastes that many chances in that short a period of time they get absolutely slaughtered. Bottom of the pecking order at present with sterling's resurgence, will need to start turning up if he wants starts. Should get an opportunity midweek vs leipzig.

His all round play was excellent the only thing missing was a goal I think Pep will have loved his display, personally I was disappointed we paid £100m on him but he's showed good quality, and encouraging amounts of qualify so far since joining, he started off well in his first few games before a mini slump at his new team where he still needs to get used to our methods playing for us and Villa is a different world, he played really well yesterday his finishing was poor but everything else I couldn't fault him as he grows I can see him ironing flaws out and massively improving.

Not sure how you thought he was way off the level or poor bar the shooting I was really impressed by his all round play, you need to give him time we won't see his best just yet not even close when he gets used to his surroundings and learns to be more comfortable as he integrates, he'll be a great long-term signing and to be honest I didn't even want him or understand why we wanted him at first, but I've seen enough of him to understand what Pep sees in him potentially.

He'll come good don't be so hasty to downplay him you're letting your possible high immediate expectations cloud your judgement, every time you watch him try not to think of the fee and expectations just enjoy his qualities, he draws fouls he brings effort and has shown plenty of creativity since joining plus his possession retaining has been good too, as he grows within the next year he'll get used to his teammates and when to take players on and lay it off for a teammate, his finishing wasn't good at all yesterday but there were many many positives, he should improve the more he adjusts to life here so give him a chance for crying out loud.

He never wanted him and refuses to give him credit now he’s here.
In short, wouldn’t take notice of him.

Aren’t ‘his numbers’ creating more chances than any other player at the club this season despite his injury?

Bit rich from a Barca fan talking about wasting money but hypocrites like you are regulars on this site, so no big surprise .

How's Coutinho by the way - what a brilliant investment he has been for you.

Perhaps get your begging bowl out when approaching City for a player or two to re-ignite the Barca success train .

how can you say "he should have scored 4" and "he was way off the level of the rest" in the same sentence mate.. if he could have had 4 goals, he clearly did some things right! created chances for himself, got in the right position, had shots. sorry but on another day he finishes with a hattrick whilst providing basically the same "level" of performance, sometimes it's just about the foot meeting the ball a milimeter away from where it should. i don't judge players based on that.
