I love him already.

He has a real ‘70’s ’ languid swagger about him a la Tony Currie , Rodney Marsh and Frank Worthington.
The way he jinks to go one way and then switches his balance and go the other is virtually unplayable and that his why he gets fouled so often.

He’s had a great start, still playing well within himself as he’s trying to make sure he doesn’t make mistakes and lose possession, once he fully settles he will be much more confident with the ball and take people on more.

Not a £100m player but that’s not really his fault. Been decent so far, but I’d also say he’s played quite safe. Early days though, and still feel he’ll be an excellent player for us.

I think he touched it once before we were 2 0 up. Definitely more to come. Would like to see him inside as the season progresses and Foden is back.
