The hesitant, pass on the responsibility to make something happen Grealish we've seen so far this season is hopefully becoming rarer and rarer, that was night and day from the rest of his performances this season. That's the benchmark for him now, he has to be at that level every time he's on the pitch from here on.

Lovely work today.

I've often felt this season like he's been preoccupied by his instructions. I don't think he's played badly at all, he's been steady and reliable and consistent and that's not nothing, and has often been a key part of how we've played. It's just felt like he was thinking about it, like he was worrying about doing the wrong thing.

But today was the first time I felt like he's showed more than just flashes of being comfortable enough in those instructions to really express himself. And I'm excited to see how he keeps improving.

It's amazing what a bit of time, building relationships with teammates, and a little confidence boost can do.

Not sure if it was cause a Derby and he was bang up for it or the crowd encouragement helped him,

there was a lot more ‘Go on Jack’ rather than ‘Do something Jack’ and he seemed to respond to it
