Not really a thing about club fans actually, considering how these "club fans" attack Jesus, Sterling and Mahrez yet Grealish can do no wrong to these "club fans".
Which city do you support because judging by your post history it’s defo not Manchester City.

Jack did very well when he came on last night...made good runs and so so close to finishing Madrid off. We will definitely see the best of him next season. I would love to see him do brilliantly in the final few games.

Whether one rates him or not, i think we can all agree to that sentiment

I feel for him as he's such as easy scapegoat due to being the new boy and the pricetag, while he's obviously underperformed he's never been a player to rack up loads of goals and assists and I don't think is been anywhere near as bad as some people have made him out to be considering his role is so different.

Really hope he can get the slice of luck he needs and the fans get behind him, i'm sure having a striker next season will help loads- also found this article which was interesting:

I personally don’t remember any of the guys you mention hitting the ground running; I may be misremembering, but I wouldn’t say any outfield player, at least, other than Dias has had a more obvious impact than Grealish.

In my estimation, the handful you mentioned were all good without ripping up trees, and I’d say Jack is there as well.

Granted, no-one else cost £100m, but others, who are now essential to our success, were far worse on arrival for 12 months. It’s a fair point though.

Not to add any further weight to the Grealish debate, but Mahrez returned 24 goals & assists in his first season and Bernardo 20 goals & assists in his first d
season.

If people are going to offer the positives of Grealish in a City shirt, at least do it without introducing fiction.

Granted Bernardo and Mahrez weren’t the players they are now, but both quadrupled what Jack has offered so far in their ‘poor’ or settling first season. Or Sane in contrast who was much younger and never seemed to grasp what Pep requires, still returned 8 goals & 9 assists.

In terms of productivity, Grealish is just behind where Cancelo was in his first season. Who is a full back.

His productivity has been truly woeful, even when compared to other ‘slow’ starters for City.

We all want to be positive about him, but let’s stick to the truth.

I don't think he was unlucky with those chances last night. I just don't think he's a good enough finisher. He's been here nearly a full season (probably played more games this season than he did at Villa last season) and I'm still waiting to see why we bought him. He's 26 - not 21. That's not to say he didn't look good when he came on but we needed him to finish one of those chances to kill off Real. He's far from being the finished article.
