Southgate allows Grealish and Foden to play their natural game, and they flourish. Hopefully our next manager does the same.

It is an opinion and a good one. Mahrez even said it before, he wasn’t given the chance Grealish has been given to perform. Grealish has started all 7 league games but only has one goal and assist, that is poor from a forward. Don’t know why Pep hasn’t even benched him yet cause I am sure last season Peps message was different.can't tell if this comment is just a joke or an actual opinion
Grealish is doing a lot of the right things (and bad) only way he can get better and become what Pep wants is by playing. It is an opinion and a good one. Out of interest... who would you have wanted to play on the left instead of Grealish? It is an opinion and a good one. Don’t care if he could be sold or not. I am talking about when they came initially, it is all good saying Grealish has to play to become better but how many other new players have been forced into the team ?Grealish is doing a lot of the right things (and bad) only way he can get better and become what Pep wants is by playing.
Grealish is the future. Mahrez could well be sold.
Well maybe Pep knows a lot more than both of us and is buzzing off his tits with Grealishs performances so far?Don’t care if he could be sold or not. Grealish is obviously doing what Pep asks of him or he wouldn't start, and thats obviously not him scoring a lot of goals. It is an opinion and a good one. maybe Pep is a shite manager and we need to sack him and appoint Tokyo32.Well maybe Pep knows a lot more than both of us and is buzzing off his tits with Grealishs performances so far?
Of all the many things that Pep has done that is sometimes beyond explanation, we are surprised hes playing Grealish?
We'll have to keep Pep for now... I doubt City would be able to afford Tokyo's wages.maybe Pep is a shite manager and we need to sack him and appoint Tokyo32.
Fair pointWe'll have to keep Pep for now... I doubt City would be able to afford Tokyo's wages.
Pep also stuck with Sterling.I personally think Tokyo is making a valid point of Grealish being given more time to bed himself in than other players in the same position have been under Pep. I don't think Tokyo is saying Grealish is shit or doesn't deserve to be playing - just a genuine comparison to other wingers like Mahrez, Torres, Sane who had slow starts but didn't start 7 games running.
I think Grealish has been fine (Tokyo might too) and I'd much rather he be out there on the wing at the moment than Sterling but there's definitely room for improvement and, as with all new players under Pep, that'll come.

You clearly missed some parts of Tokyo's comment "Grealish played 7 games and only scored once and assisted 2 times"I personally think Tokyo is making a valid point of Grealish being given more time to bed himself in than other players in the same position have been under Pep. The future? Based on what? The pro Grealish sentiment here is at an all time high. Imagine Grealish played for the scousers or the rags, the slagging off he would get on bluemoon would be ridiculous. 100m for one goal and one assist. Yeah, he's the future alright.
mate only jesus and torres have two goals scored so far in our team in the PL.. why is grealish supposed to be our top goalscorer ? just because we paid 100 mil?The future? Based on what? He's a new signing, there's a lot of good will towards him, that's normal.
Pep didn't spend £100m for him to be less impressive than Foden, Bernardo and Jesus, which he has been so far. He's got a long way to go to be worth the fee but there's no signs he can't make those steps.
so is the Grealish hatefestI agree, Grealish is a work in progress, let's curb the hype, ok? Let's take the hype way, way, way down and relax a bit. The Grealish wankfest is becoming embarrassing.
