He has been very average at best since he got here,but last night with a clear instruction to drive at their backline he was very much the player from Villa.If we want to get the best out of this player then Pep needs to allow him more freedom,oytherwise his signing was a pointless one and any number of midfielders at a quarter of his price could have done a similar job.
