He did that “receive, run to the middle, pass to the back line” move so many times against Leeds that at one point I thought my stream was stuck in a loop2 moves.
1. invite the foul and get a free kick.
2. recieve the ball and run back towards his own goal in an arc across the middle and give it the right back.
repeat….

We make some excellent purchases from abroad. And then there are those 'big name' buys from PL.
Good in the first half. Loved his decision-making for the goal.
Stunk the place out in the second half. Wasn't helped by De Bruyne having his absolute worst game in a City shirt.
Alvarez and Foden deserve a proper run over him and Mahrez imo.

The defence was shit whenever it was called upon, Rodri and Kev couldn't find a blue shirt, Bernardo did nowt. Grealish, Mahrez and Haaland at least combined to create a goal.What were our problems then if a slow, lethargic, utterly predictable and unproductive wing wasn't our issue?

We made a profit this summer. Money isn't the reason we haven't signed a left back.Just not happening for him. Think the wrong player and the wrong club for him?
He's not at fault for it but can't believe we spent that amount of money on him. Could have used it for two new fullbacks or a left back and winger.
