If each pair of boots are sold at 200 quid (my guesstimate, btw), then the manufacturer would have to sell 50,000 just to cover Jack's fee. That doesn't include any other costs for them.
So, for a return on investment, the manufacturer is looking for Jack's calves to flog, at least, 150,000 units, at 200 a pop.
That's some going.
Edit: and this doesn't include any fees for other footballers sponsorship on the same shoes.
