Not sure if being disapointed at coming off while having a good return game us sulking, people are far too sensitive today, seems anyone not laughing or smiling is deemed to be in a bad mood.

Did ok but needs to start affecting and impacting games more
I’ve been among his staunchest defenders on here but it’s time now to put up or shut up
He needs to cut out that sulking and petulance sharpish btw
If he doesn’t want to get hooked then he has to start living up to his undoubted talent
I think he maybe needs ‘that one game’ where he takes it by the scruff of the neck and it all suddenly clicks
Bizarrely given his rep, I think he still lacks a bit of belief that he belongs in this company
Agree with a lot you say, I though the "one game" he needed was the derby last season, he was superb, by far his best performance in our shirt, I genuinely thought that was that would kick start his time with us, sadly that was not the case.

He did well last night and personally I was glad to see him a bit stroppy when he came off, he cares and he knows he is under pressure, that can only be a positive.

It’s a shame he’s getting told to play this way…. Receive ball out wide, advance 10 paces, stop and pass it backwards and inside. Repeat. But Pep knows best.

I thought he played well but that sulking on the bench is a poor look. Save that shit for the dressing room.

Do we actually know what that was about? Looked he wasn't entirely comfortable and I doubt a guy who is used to rotating, missing games and not playing the full ninety is going to be pissed off about be brought off an hour after he's come back from injury.

Sometimes I don't know what game other people are watching.

Grealish has plenty of opportunities to take his man on, dribble through defences and either have a shot or make a chance for someone else. He's been doing it with varying results since he got here. He's also not an idiot who chooses to do it every time because he knows we're not Aston Villa and that's not how we control games.

There are fewer players I like watching more. Sure, he can be frustrating, but when he fits full flow he's a delight. Just glides across the pitch.

Thought he was brilliant last night; hopefully something to build on.

Someone in the match day thread, I know I know, basically said he did nothing last night, it’s amazing how people see things differently or have such strong aversion to players that they can’t see he was one of the best players in the first half and faded as it’s his first game for a bit. I live watching him, if he starts to connect with Haaland more it will be special

Think when people say that they mean he didn’t assist or score

He came off bang on the hour. It was clearly a scheduled sub so I'm sure he wasn't bothered about that.

It was probably just something that happened on the pitch he wasn't happy with.
