Jack seems to have a soft spot for kids but I’m not convinced he’s a particularly nice guy just because of that.![]()

Leader of the press has to be a rabid presser and he is not that
I think it's a tad harsh to say he's not a nice bloke, without really knowing him. To me he does come across as a down to earth and likable lad. What he said, when pissed , about Almiron was stupid and I'm sure he regrets that. But to say he isn't a decent guy is harsh. If someone from another team spoke about Zabaleta, for example, the way Grealish did about Almirón, we would all rightly think that player was a complete prick.

Pep tends to only buy decent lads after being stung by the likes of Eto and Ibra.I think he's just a bit cheeky. The Almiron stuff was just banter. He'd had a bad season and it was just a bit of fun. Definitely disrespectful, but alcohol played its part!
i have eyes , he is half hearted at best , that is one thing he should be doing better after all this timeNot sure what you’re on about.
Statistically he’s our leading presser.

I acknowledged him.See a couple of his prominent detractors have felt it safe enough to pop back on with a bit of negativity. Obviously had to leave it a bit until the praise for his last performance died down (of which they were nowhere to be seen) before feeling they could test the water.
It’s why it’s hard to take their criticism in good faith. If they just don’t like him as a person there’s no getting any meaningful debate going with them as they are too entrenched. I’d have a lot more respect for the views of those who have not been happy with him so far if they could at least acknowledge a good game and not just rock up when he has had a mediocre game in their eyes.

Missing him today.
Our PL winning record with him in the starting XI is 100%.
No outball, no rhythm, no calming presence, nobody drawing Brentford defenders out of position.
All the things he provides. We're a better team with Grealish than we are with Haaland.
Another top performance. Wolves, United, this one. Been a MOTM a few more times, too.
He's having a strong season; what happens on the pitch and who wins the game matter more than G/A to me, and there's no doubt in my mind that Jack is part of our best XI if we want to win the games and get the points right now.
Grealish - Haaland - Foden is the one. I like Pep's comments about his body language; that kind of thing will help.
