Eyes are the best things that show a players worth and Grealish has played a superb part in this team since the WC.
I'll always be a believer in the eye test. The only problem with that tho is some people have poor vision, tunnel vision, or an untrained eye perhaps effected by pre-conceptions, biases, personal dislikes and so forth (not saying that's you Keep). When assessing players today it helps to have data that indicates a player's value, good or bad. I get where you're calling analytics "American bullshit" but it really isn't. It's a big part of player evaluation today and it's not going away. Personally, I think some people put too much weight on just analytics, but these types of metrics are extremely valuable tools to managers and directors alike and when used to assist someone with a keen eye are a big plus. Awesome performance by Jack today. I also liked his leadership in dragging Erling back to the corner flag at the end. The BT audio was brilliant as you could hear the full conversation. Erling then got into it, ref was booking Newcastle players, the crowd got into it. Was a pretty awesome moment that was made by Jack.

Deserved an assist for the superb run and layoff to Foden. Dictating the game on the left. So incredible in tight spaces. He does so much more than many will know, all of the defensive work is amazing.

Proper shithouse from both Grealish and Haaland, you can tell that both of them very close in the team. Haaland defending Grealish and Grealish commanding Haaland to do corner shenanigans.

There should be no doubt as he is clearly Peps favourite LW.

He would rather drop Mahrez to play Phil than Jack which says it all.

Consistently 8/10 , but he needs more protection from the referee's , Trippier was chipping away at him all afternoon and didnt even get a yellow , Jack righfully pissed at times , he appears to be fair game for defenders.

Terrific stuff from Jack. Looks not only like he belongs in this team but that he's an integral part of it. Ball retention, work rate, drawing fouls, creating chances, and some good shithousery at the death. Love it.

So good at progressing up the pitch.

Give him the ball and he'll either keep it, win a foul or break into space.

I just wish he'd stick it in the top corner now and again.

Jack finally believes he belongs here and it shows. Another very good performance and he's quickly become one of, if not our most, important and reliable players

His ball retention is elite and that combined with the shithousing, he must be fucking awful to play against
