Yeah does seem he's getting left out more this season with more competition. he's dropped a few stinkers this year so hard to argue with it and it's on him to up his level.

I like Jack a lot but I think he's going to have to start being more assertive in terms of attack or he might start being in danger of only being brought on to protect a lead or something.

Hopefully the competition he has now will make him kick on again

When he came on we took control of the game better yep he receives the ball then passes it back is what he did last season! What was poor was when 2 up we were a bit sloppy in the final third decision making wise Docu was one of them even though he had a great game

I still want to see him develop and learn to play in the half space role.

He helped control out wide for sure, but Doku is likely to improve more as a winger, Jack will not, instead he can learn to adapt his playstyle to other positions.

And that is exactly what Pep will have told him to do at that stage in the game - and also quite right to.

Although I also don’t want him to be used as someone to come on at 70 mins to protect the game, he’s so much more than that and I really don’t understand why Pep isn’t giving him the minutes he needs to get properly fit again.

I'm a Grealish fan and I find myself wishing he was playing when he isn't but Pep gave him that last season. In fact, he gave him more time to find his feet and get going than any player I can remember in his tenure.
