10 | Jack Grealish - 2024/25

Is it just me or is the weirdest month since Pep arrived and possibly a time that we'll all look back as the major turning point?

Either the beginning of the end or the end of our concerns?

One thing's for certain
Pep isn't happy with anything surrounding Grealish at the moment.
The way Pep answers questions about Grealish reminds me of the way he has answered questions about other players who are no longer here like Cancello, short sharp and with a distinct sense of annoyance.

Still not particularly happy about the optics surrounding him sharing to his Instagram that he's made the England squad.

Could be just over-thinking it, but it smells a little more like rubbing someone's nose in it at a time when you've had a disagreement.

If all had been well, I'd have expected Grealish to be a little more modest (may not be the right word), but certainly go under the radar a little more, especially as he's been injured for a few weeks and no one really seems to know what's wrong with him.

Wouldn't surprise me to see him play for England, and this issue with Pep (if there is one) rumbling on for another while until its all put to bed.

Something is wrong, I'm not having it that he's genuinely injured and that Pep is fully onboard with the situation, which he should be given that he's the man in charge.

No one said 15 mins in the gym.

Pep said "a few minutes".

No Carsley said specifically FA did contact club medical team. And national team coaches are not required to communicate with every club coach. Their medical team contacts the club medical team for reports that is all.

Some managers have personal relationships and talk to each other. But you cannot expect every national coach talk to all club coaches for every camp...they will have no time training.

City medical team should brief Pep team though.
Are you a grealish fanboy or an england apologist ?

And if he wants to win back his England spot he is better served getting back fit and playing regularly for City. Tommy Tuchel won't give a fuck about what he does in a friendly under a different manager.
Exactly. When he is sat on the bench for the next 3 months he won’t be getting selected at all. This seems an incredibly stupid decision by Grealish but there may be more to it. If it’s a fall out then I suppose he thinks “fuck it”

I think his time will very quickly come to an end with us if Pep stays.

To be honest Nunes has played no worse than Grealish does in that position and Doku will probably be the choice when fit for many of the game so I’m not sure what purpose he will serve anyway going forward as Pep clearly doesn’t rate him for any other position.

I understand that but pinnacle of playing for England is a bit extreme, well in my eyes it is,

It really isn’t, it’s what most players think

The state of the Country when England play…its massive. Like a fucking Royal Wedding or something.
