10 | Jack Grealish - 2024/25

Least touches..Lowest pass completion.. He brings us control though. People confusing being slow on the ball with control.. 100mil, fucking joke.
More like a slow mind. That’s why Pep will never play him in midfield. Rico, at 19 and now 20 years old, with not much experience played there before him—that says a lot.

Last City goal was 15th December 2023, wonder if he’ll make it to a year without scoring?
It doesn’t matter if you’re the biggest Grealish fan on the planet. This stat alone, playing as a forward in this City side, is fucking disgusting. A year not scoring in this team.

He is one of the biggest flops in football history. 14 goals in 4 years

He's never been much of a goalscorer though.

Can't really have a go for the price tag not matching up with a high goals tally when that's never what he's been anyway

I think the bigger question is why you would pay 100 million for a player and then stick him out in the position he didn't really play, hugging the touchline

even in his best season, he couldnt beat the output of his two best seasons at villa in the best attacking team in the world.

problem if he start another 20 games for us this season, 15-17 of those he will provide no assist or goals. can we afford it? yes if Foden, KDB, Savinho, Gundo, Haaland, Nunes, Doku start firing on all cylinders but they arent so far apart from Haaland.

Remember the great pass from Nunes where any attacking player in the world would have a 1v1 (which would've meant 4-0 for us)? Except Grealish of course, because he needs 3 full seconds whenever he is in front of goal. Genuinely, I am astonished of how he transforms a 1v1 into a corner where he didn't even attempt a shot.
Mr blocked shot.

Was Bernardo much of a goalscorer? Or Gundogan? Or Rodri?

He’s an attacking player and that goal return is absolutely pathetic no matter how you spin it.

I agree he doesn’t suit playing on the touchline, but then again it didn’t suit Foden or Bernardo either and they have done it and performed at much higher levels than he has.

Shite tonight. Not potent enough to play wing in that sort of game. He’s not justifying his wages at all.
