I see a player who 4 days out from a game vs Real Madrid didn’t see the chance to make a game vs a team of nobodies his own.

I would have loved nothing more than for jack to have torn that game apart. But it never, ever happens.

He never really has been though has he? Treble season when he was putting it great performances, nobody was walking away talking about him. Today was fine from him and he was involved in us going through. He gets hammered for his numbers and rightly so at times, today he walks away with the winning assist. Can't have it both ways. I'd still happily try him central more, he played it once and looked good.

The ball he played for the goal was the type of ball Gundogan refused to play throughout the second half. Multiple players made the run, especially from the right, but he pointblank refused to send it, much to their exasperation. Maybe it just goes against Gundogan’s possession principles, but we need someone in midfield who is willing to throw the dice.

Out of interest, who gave him motm? If we're talking neutral match reports, i'd wager nearly all are giving it to their keeper or their goal scorer, but if it has to be a blue, it's surely going to savinho or Lewis.

He played a decent standard Grealish game. Granted it was against a lower league team but as the poster above said it’s what we get from a good Grealish. He was never gonna be skinning 3 players and score 2. Pep can’t be unhappy with him today though.

What isn't speculation is that his significant other had a child just over 4 months ago, but we only talk about his drinking here.

When has he been shitfaced in night clubs? I mean I'm sure he has in his life, like most lads, but if it was a common occurrence, it'd be plastered all over the news and social media these days. Seems a lot of bollocks to me. If he had a drinking problem and was wrecked in clubs all the time, there'd be far more talk about it rather than some posts on a forum.

Several benders? You were there yeah? - all we know is he had a good scoop during celebrations, which is about once a year. Funny how nobody said anything about the likes of Rodri looking even more shitfaced than Grealish coming out of the league winning party at the end of last season.

If he had a drinking problem and the club knew, he would be getting treatment and he wouldn't be playing or on the bench. We know the level of care players get these days.

Nothing at all indicates he has a serious drinking problem.
