I thought he was poor on Saturday, that being said I don't blame any lack of commitment from him now when selected. Came on at PSG - scored, started against Salford and got a coupe of assists and a goal, assisted the winner against Orient and assisted the assist fantastically against Madrid before going off early.

I know straight away people will say look at the opposition but they are the only games he is getting a sniff at lately. What is the point in performing in them games to then get next to no minutes in the next game. He deserves a shot centrally, KDB, Gundog and Bernardo still get their minutes despite a very poor season. He has no incentive to play well now, when he does he gets left out next game.

There might be a chance if Rashford does not make a permanent move to Villa. But, Stan Collymore sounds adamant that Emery would not want Jack. Regarding his wages, wherever he goes, he would probably have to agree to a reduction in his salary.

Got to admit, I’ve never been particularly fussed about players going out on the piss as long as they’re ready, fit and playing well on the pitch/turning up for training.

The issue here is. He’s hardly been ready or fit to play for a lot of the season.
