10 | Jack Grealish - 2024/25

Eh? Hardly.

We’ve been in an unprecedented injury crisis, a player we’ve heard nothing about his injury, cryptic social media post, then suddenly called up for England without a word as to what’s been going on.

People want answers, understandably.

People calling him out without knowing what the issue is ?

Too many on these forums are a fucking disgrace for the way they react to our players, and so I stick to my comment for those who fall into that category.

If Pep chooses not to explain the circumstances regarding Jack, he must have his reasons.

Hope that helps.

Sounds like he’s been injured, but is expected to be back ahead of when Pep thought he would be.

Or maybe his partner has PND or maybe he’s fallen out with Pep.

It’s most likely to be the first scenario though.

I did wonder if PND was the issue. It would explain why Pep has been silent. If Jack was in Pep’s bad books, I think he would have at least hinted at something.

You stick to calling fellow blues pathetic cunts then, nice one.

That's got no relevance to my point about counter attacks

How's he guarantee less counters?
He brings us no more control than any other winger. He has no more touches or completes any more passes. What he does do is slows it down, plays safe more often than not and draws fouls which might give illusion of control but it's not really, the highline is still there and we give up possession just as often.
He's better defensively than anyone else on the left though(apart from maybe Nunes now) and drawing fouls let's us reset when under the cosh. So he's effective vs teams that play vs us rather than sit back and counter

Bottom line is you’ve not got a clue, neither of I, just saying nothing wrong with feeling like you’d like an explanation when we’ve lost 3 games in a week.
