Second-half urgency stood in stark contrast to the first-half passivity. Then again, Savinho was far less direct in the second-half, seeing much less of the ball, so maybe that was the management's call. Not sure why both cannot attack with pace, though.

Better second half and a lovely ball for Kdb, but he needs to be doing more in order to get a regular starting place in the team.

That performance was great.

But I still suspect Sav LW Foden RW vs Madrid.

At the very least with Doku out, we can rely on him somewhat in the games to come.

Just feel bad for the guy. Being played in the wrong position and not being played at all. If he gets a move in summer I won't hold it against him.

He does his job, he gets fouls and feeds it.
I can get tackled and go down like I've been shot, especially for 300k per week.

And what's his best position? And dont say midfield because he's not good enough, and not good enough to wear our shirt. He needs to move on in the summer for his own sake.

And apart from a lovely day assist he was average against a League One club, btw.

Average? He was the only one creating chances for the whole 90 along with Savio. Could've had a second assist had the first goal been given to Lewis instead of Khusanov.

Not good enough for the midfield is absurd considering the nonsense in midfield we've had to watch this season. Not good enough for the shirt is a hilarious take given some embarrassing performances from some who play twice a week and Grealish plays 180 minutes a month.

OK then average to good but still half hearted when he should be smashing it, especially against lower opposition.

It's not absurd at all. He's played two games in midfield, one good one bad. Probably deserved more games there due to injuries but Isn't cut out to play in midfield for us.

It's an hilarious take when you're a fanboy I suppose but I'm not.
Why does he play so little, is it because he offers so little? I think I know what your answer is but feel free to carry on blowing smoke up his arse if you like.

Calls someone a fanboy because they have a different opinion of a footballer who helped us win the treble.

Not a fanboy, just want a player who has something to offer get a chance besides cup games when our midfield is dominated week in, week out to mid table and teams that are barely safe from relegation. If you can actually say he's a worse option than Gundo or Kovacic in the middle, then there's no point having any further discussion because they're the reason we're so open and our backline is always under pressure. There's a reason City and Villa agreed on the fee they did and it wasn't from putting someone who flourishes in a free role out on the wing with no one running wide beyond him.

OK fair enough. Jack has played half hearted this season though, he should be bursting a gut to make things happen when he gets on the pitch because he's playing for his future whether it's with us or elsewhere.

One good pass but otherwise struggled to make impact against team way down

His fanboys will take victory laps though

Would you not agree that Pep continually playing Gundo and Kovacic whilst grealish has sat on the bench despite in your opinion them being the primary problem (which i completely disagree with) would indicate that Pep himself thinks he's a worse option than them in there?

Certainly, but effort or output doesn't seem to result in more minutes in his case. Foden can go invisible for weeks at a time and still be gifted opportunities to find form. Gundo and Kova are running on fumes and still get led out to slaughter. Just looks like different standards from player to player.
