Quite poor in the first 25-30 minutes, but he became a real creative outlet as the game went on. Had some great passes that led to big chances in the second half and was unlucky to get an assist or two.

Sluggish start, but most of the team kinda was, but definitely imposed himself and created numerous chances.

Far more than McAtee did, which is a worry for me McAtee is so ineffective.

Nice to see his body stand up to 90 minutes. I thought he grew into the game and was unlucky to not get at least one assist. He's out of his rhythm but had a good run-out today which will have done him good - hopefully he can follow it up with decent recovery and training.

I doubt he will change now. Frustrating at times though. Had a couple of clear chances to shoot in first 20 and couldn’t get the shots away quickly enough. It’s a flaw in his game. He was steady enough after that.

It's so strange and frustrating he doesn't back himself to be more aggressive given his technical ability. I know we'll probably never see it again, but a lot of what he does out wide would help us in the middle.

I honestly can't see why he's not a regular starter in a number 10 role. Offers so much more control than Phil Foden imo.

But genuinely really sharp and actually attacked his full back down the line onto his left foot!

Took him a while to get going, not a surprise with his fitness problems. He definitely grew into it and ended up playing very well. The little flipped ball over the top he's done in recent appearances is very handy

He made the most chances and dribbles of our offence.

And was involved in the most physical duels of the forwards and won most of them.

Maybe get your eyes checked.
