And I can see him doing decent defensive cover dropping back in this formationI’m surprised he hasn’t been given another go in centre midfield. I’m confident he can offer the team a stop gap in that area until the summer.

We then played him out of position, coached out of him the things he was good at such as going past people.
What we need right now is actually Jack's original skill set before we fucked about with him.

There is position on the field, and there is role in the team. Grealish’s role in the team, certainly at City, has been to be involved in the buildup, and maintain and circulate possession.
