I swear I have seen people here subtly call for Pep to be shown the door so Jack can "excel". MadnessA superb 6 months in 4 seasons for a 100m fee and 300k a week wages is a shocking return on a huge investment.
I really don't understand many on here who put Grealish before the club, I find that strange and very wrong.
He's a great lad, a likeable character but an attacking player that has scored 1 goal in a calendar year, that is simply pathetic and inexcusable.
Compare his stats to Alvarez , a player who incredibly was not rated by many, Alvarez despite a huge 80m fee received has been a huge loss, I wish we could go back in time and have kept him.
"He just needs time", "Pep needs to play him in his real position", these idiots are calling out one of the greatest managers of all time, if it was not so tragic it would be hilarious.I swear I have seen people here subtly call for Pep to be shown the door so Jack can "excel". Madness
Fan boys last stand.lol
But for that one season (and only that one season), he did produce De Bruyne numbers (as did Bruno Fernandes)Insulting to even think of comparing him with KDB.
One season compared to a decade at City for KDB and player of the year in Germany for the season he was there. But for that one season (and only that one season), he did produce De Bruyne numbers (as did Bruno Fernandes)
I think it’s actually more damning of Grealish that he’s never come close to that again in a much better side
At his best, I’ve appreciated what he’s given us, but over the course of four seasons the output, for several reasons I don’t need to re-litigate here, has not been good enough
I hope he gets the right move and wish him the best
Didn’t you just compare Grealish (four league titles, treble winner) to Rasmus Hoijlund a minute ago? ;)One season compared to a decade at City for KDB and player of the year in Germany for the season he was there.
As said, to compare the two is an insult.
Yea the spotty one has a better goal record which says everythingDidn’t you just compare Grealish (four league titles, treble winner) to Rasmus Hoijlund a minute ago? ;)

Lewis already gets it in the match threads. It's City fans' way; we love a scapegoat. Sterling, Mahrez (the FFS didn't start off as jokey "bantz"), then go back to Edghill. And way back in the days of B&W telly and the wireless, Corrigan's first spell in goal for us.Some of you really need to stretch before making the massive reach of conflating the opinion Grealish could've been used differently to mean some want Pep out.
Wonder who's next to get the Bluemoon hate boner after Grealish leaves.

One poster said and get this he has only played well for a few months in 4 seasons and therefore calling out one of the greatest managers of all time for not seeing how average he's been for 30 odd months Picking this overrated player week in week out."He just needs time", "Pep needs to play him in his real position", these idiots are calling out one of the greatest managers of all time, if it was not so tragic it would be hilarious.
The Danish Acne King over the road has a better goalscoring record than good old Jack, take that in! and he was 20M cheaper and is on half the wages!
A lot of his fan boys on here.Who puts Grealish before the club?
Sure sureA lot of his fan boys on here.
I honestly don't think they do. I don't recall seeing any post saying that Jack is bigger/more important than the club, but I'm happy to be proved wrong, if you wish to quote any such post(s). Bosnians and Algerians (with Mahrez and Dzeko), certainly. That seemed to be a national pride thing, though. I can't say that I've seen any posts cheering on a City player solely because he's English/Scottish/Spanish/Argentinian/wherever. But let's say for now that there are such posts on here (stayting that Jack is more important than the club). That being the case, they're wrong. The club is bigger than any player, past or present; Jack, Rodri, Haaland, Kev, Merlin, Samaras, Dabo, Sibierski etc etc. Players come and players go; the club will always be here. And we will be here to support them.A lot of his fan boys on here.
For me Grealish's time with us has been completely overrated by a lot on here.I honestly don't think they do. That's not what I asked you, but thanks anyway. As I said, I'm happy to be proved wrong re any posts stating that Jack comes before the club. If they're on here, please show me. I'd love to reply to them, pointing out that they're wrong. And re his time with us, it's been generally disappointing. Not too many arguments from me on that point. But while he's still a City player, I'll support him.For me Grealish's time with us has been completely overrated by a lot on here.
First season was very underwhelming after a decent and positive start, the second treble season started the same but he came back from the International break in the Autumn and was superb right through to the end of the season.
Since then he has had decent games but a lot where he simply has not grown and become a leader in this side.
Last summer he was in my opinion rightly dropped from the national side much to his regret, I really thought he would come back after a full preseason (unlike most of his teammates) and be fired up and take his place in our side and show England and Southgate just what they missed, sadly he has had a shockingly bad season.
I like his character and he has superb ability but I have and always will argue he does not have the mentality or self belief to be a permanent fixture in an elite side, the lack of self belief is incredible for such a talented footballer.
His cameo in the second half in the FA Cup game at Bournemouth sums up his time with us, superb technic, great personality but his reluctance to shoot and take responsability in goal scoring positions was so sad to see, he could and should have score at least two goals.
An attacking player in our side that has scored 1 goal in a year and created 1 goal this season is simply and sadly not good enough.
