How do people know what was asked of him?

Did Pep tell them what was expected of him and did the same?

And on flip side he can’t do anything else , can’t score regularly can’t assist can’t make KdBesque passes so what is left then? Winning meaningless fouls?

Don't blame him honestly. He's had pretty solid performances before and didn't get rewarded with more minutes while others who play poorly get chance after chance to play themselves into form. He's probably figured there's no point in trying to play himself into favor when he's out the door this summer anyway. The start yesterday seemed like Pep throwing him scraps.

Doku has just had 2 game changing cameos off the bench and then found himself behind both savinho and grealish who came in out of absolutely nowhere. Pep rotates everybody, it's on the players to perform and make themselves undroppable.

Was a massive chance for him to make a big contribution yesterday. He was okay on the ball but looked like he wanted to be anywhere but on the pitch. That attitude won't wash here. I'm not convinced as many are that he's gone in the summer either, I don't see who would be interested.

After the rag game, Pep said players were running around too much. I think the whole purpose of the box system is to flood the midfield and that players are to be in the correct positions. I don't think the players are being asked to press with anything like the intensity of previous seasons.

Thought he played well, passed the ball accurately throughout in our possession based style, harsh booking as Forest player was ducking down to head the ball, left the pitch at 2-0 up on 70 minutes. There was also a tremendous hoofed clearance just prior to getting hooked.

Started 2 games vs Forest both games won, didn't start the other game which was lost. Started 1 FA cup defeat in 4 seasons. Whole host of coincidences going on here.

He was fine today. The plan was to keep the ball as much as possible to stop Forest counter attacking and for 45 mins we were supreme.

The second half was less secure, but not because Grealish did anything wrong. His price tag has made him a scape goat.

Savinho was the player that gave the ball away the most today.

He didn’t do a thing wrong. The problem was he didn’t do anything. Didn’t get involved in the game. Gets given a chance in a huge game and strolled around and barely touched the ball

They pull it out off their arse. Again. Imagine him playing for United. They would’ve made a thread like the „ole on the wheel one„ „ save our ole“
 
I imagine that he will leave.
He will perform as mavericks do.
He will absolutely boss the best sides who will not be able to get the ball off him.
The press will be full of it, declaring that he has been released from Pep's shackles.
He will have highlight reels galore.
There will be calls to make him England's main man.
His team will not win trophies.

I hope he stays. We are a better team with him as a part of it.

He has not signed anything, but him and his agent have agreed to a move.

His family have suggested Newcastle but I've checked it out since and they don't expect to be losing Gordon on the left, and don't see how they can make the numbers work.

I fear a loan move with someone picking up 50 per cent of his wages until he walks for free.
