Pep has made many bone headed decisions this season. Not playing Jack or Phil aren't one of them.

Disagree mate. Not playing Grealish at. Times has cost us. I also thought he was excellent against forest in the semi as he was in the league

He will play in midfield for the 3rd time this season, get MOTM for the 3rd time, and Pep will say he was blind not to play him there more. The next day, Pep will ask Viana/Txiki to fuck him off if we can get 30+million.

He was the worst of all our starting midfielders in my opinion. That said, I'll grant that overall the team played a little better than we normally do.

He did nothing of note. Was often the slowest of the 4 Box midfielders.. Kova was the best, Lewis had his best performance, Bernie did his usual 'go get it from the defenders ' thing and Jack joined in sparingly.

He wasn't bad, but 'excellent' isn't how I'd describe his performance.

On a day when we moved the ball quickly and well, he was one of the 4 central midfielders who helped keep the ball away from our less talented Center backs and helped keep it moving effectively. Amongst that 4, he was the least impressive and correctly the first to be subbed out.

Certainly wasn't poor, but excellent is definitely too rich a description for me.
 
People will say he shoudn't play which is bollocks in itself, but funnier when KDB, Bernardo, Foden and others consistently get minutes after being dog shit all season. I didn't mind Doku yesterday, I'd have played Jack though to offer that more support defensively against a team that was always going to play on the break. For Savinho to last 75 minutes is staggering. Yet he will get minutes next before Jack. Whilst he hasn't set the world alight, his treatment this season has been very poor from Pep
 
I wonder what Jack was thinking when a young lad who has never had a minute on the pitch in either the League or Cup was given a chance before him.
 
I think it was quite pointed from pep yesterday playing the new kid ahead of him. He's not pulled up trees but Grealish felt like he was bombed out yesterday. Sad.
 
Yesterday really brought home how poorly Pep has treated Jack this season. He's started one defeat all season, and he was MOTM in that game. (Started the 3-2 defeat to Madrid but went off when we were 1-0 up).

He was effective during the FA Cup run (1 goal, 3 assists) and started the semi-final, during which he was good for 60 minutes while we took a 2-0 lead. After he went off Forest hit the woodwork three times.

He won't start in the week either. A talented player who makes the team better and he's had to watch as a bunch of OAPs trundle around in midfield ahead of him. The sooner he gets out the better, and we'll really miss him.

As I said earlier I won’t miss him

I’ve missed watching a great talent every week and look forward to watching him next season wherever he goes
 
His off the field activities answers so many questions that are being put on here, and without being a fan boy you know why, he’s not helped himself and that’s that
