11,000 Manchester City season ticket holders set to miss out

I thought the figure was going to be closer to 30,000 to be honest, its wrong that so many "real" fans are going to miss out.

Not really, these rules have been the case for a couple of decades.

It just seems unfair because we are in the final for a change.

City will have up to 50,000 in there on the day, courtesy of Wembley club members, black market, corporate, contacts through other clubs.

But this poor allocation has two effects:

Firstly, the people who get tickets through corporate and other avenues are often the ones who sell them on the black market for 4 times the price.

Secondly, the people they are selling them to are usually the honest fans who are scrambling to get a ticket.

This decision from FA is fuelling the black market.

FA Cup 3rd Round Replay at Eastlands vs Leicester City
ATT: 27,000 (6,000 from Leicester) = 22,000 City fans

FA Cup 4th Round Replay at Eastlands vs Notts County
ATT: 27,000 (5,000 from Notts County) = 23,000 City fans

FA Cup 5th Round at Eastlands vs Aston Villa
ATT: 25,000 (2,000 from Villa) = 23,000 City fans

We get 25,000 so there should be more than enough.

Ye, but there will be a few fans who went to all these games and still miss out on the final.

Alloctaion is a joke, always has been. How someone with no affiliation to the teams involved is entitled to a ticket because they are involved in the runningof their local team/fa is stupid. They didn't become a volunteer so that they could go to the fa cup final.
Also, why not use England games for this instead of the final?! Would be much more appropriate.

On a seperate (but related) point there should be some kind of security, such as printing the name of the person who paid for the ticket on the ticket as for the semi they were blank....this encourages c**** to buy tickets for the sole reason of selling them on for a huge profit.

My daughter was at all of these as well as every Europa game bar Juventus and she will not get a ticket

Given to Grassroots and Club Wembley, who will sell them to ticket agents or touts for double the price. Who will in turn sell them to proper fans for 5 times the price of the original price. Congratulations to the FA, they know best (Apparently).

There always has to be one smart fucker doesn't there?

And what makes you think it was the same 22,000-23,000 fans at every one of those games? Did you go round and memorise the faces of each and every City fan that were in the ground for all 3 matches?

Exactly. WNRH shouldn't go anyway. He wasn't there when we won the league in 1968.
