11 days until the big kickoff and start of another glorious Premier League season.. Are you happy?

Competing at the top of the league rather than struggling to stay i it. What's not to be happy about?

Only thing I'm not happy about is the amount of games I'm going to miss through work... starting with arguably the biggest game of the season - Chelsea!!

Apart from that we've strengthened the main position I was worried about with Sterling. He's got a combination of attributes that are really rare, especially a 20 year old, and I'm confident that he's going to be one of our greatest ever players.

If we can avoid injuries to key players then we'll win the league! Come on city.

Very happy with the signings we've made and no doubt there will be more quality coming in.

The one thing I'm a little disappointed in is our strategy re the maximum number of foreigners rule. By having the maximum we can have, we box ourselves into a corner when it comes to bringing another one in because we have to release one first. I understand homegrown players are not of the highest quality but we would have more leeway in our negotiations if we didn't push it to the max. The best way of doing this would have been a home grown keeper instead of Caballero. Financially, we risk taking a hit when we need to offload a player that the whole world knows we need to sell and the players we want to bring in have less time to settle. Maybe we would have had our targets by now if buyers didn't know we needed to sell???

Obviously as the academy starts to produce players it will be less of a problem.

Two ways of answering this question.
As far as this immediate transfer window goes — glass half empty, glass half full. Delph may be a useful acquisition, and at the price well, how much did we pay for Rodwell? for Sinclair? can't be as bereft of impact as them in any case. Sterling a major addition. If we get KDB my cup will run over. If we don't well, as I say, glass half empty etc.
As far as the general direction of City is concerned — how could anyone not be happy? We're going places.
I'd sure as hell like my card to come through that post box, though… Getting a bit edgy now.

Been reading and listening to a few PL previews and have not come across one that is predicting us to win the league. Most are saying 3rd or 4th and some are even saying that the scousers could replace us in the top 4. Unless the last 4 years have all been a dream, I could have sworn we have won the league twice and finished as runners up twice in that time. We also have the best striker in the league if not the world, the best play maker in the league and when on form the best goal scoring central midfielder in the league. I don't know if it's bias, anti-city propaganda or just plain naivety but we are being seriously overlooked for the title, literally no one thinks we will win it. Over the last few years I have forgotten what it feels like to be the underdog but it seems to bring out the best in our players and our fans so if the self entitled 'experts' want to keep writing us off then I guess we'll just have to keep doing what we do best, proving them wrong. I am positive about this season despite the slightly strange feeling around the club that every one knows we are waiting for Pep the following year. I think we will see more of the football that we saw in Pellegrini's first season which was easily the best football I've ever seen at City.

I would be only my brother, a regular season ticket holder, he's had one every season Manchester City have been at our new stadium, has not retained his seat and it has been sold, without his knowledge because he was not paying for it by direct debit. He is very dismayed and I have contacted customer complaints about a resolution, does anyone at Bluemoon have any advice?

No can't say I am. My favorite part of football is the transfer rumor gossip, friendlies in far away lands against countries not clubs, and of course the Women's World Cup.
