I can't count the number of times that Gvardiol was on his own and all he could do was pass it back. If you're going to start Phil on the left, then make him actually play there. Otherwise, start the POTS in his strongest position and play a proper winger.I said earlier in the season, he is a must start against teams that park the bus. Doku can play on the right, true, but he’s also proven to be much more successful attacking on the left. It’s also a problem that we have both of our experienced wide men playing on the same side; I don’t really count Bernardo as a wide man. Next season, we’ll presumably have two players on the right but both will be less experienced.
