Pep can tactically improve Doku but things like his touch and technique can't improve any further. He is still worth keeping as we do need that variety in our team.
Lol, you make it sound like we are talking about Gomez here. "Still worth keeping", like a spare tire or something. Why not focus on the positives? And who says Pep can't improve his first touch?

No idea why but his first touch also seems to have gotten much better in recent weeks? It's like he's simultaneously started to understand both himself and Pep at the same time? Would like to see him from the start in a game and see what he can do but throwing him into games for 30 mins when the opposition RB is knackered is a good strategy for the next few weeks.

Looking in the transfer forum the talk is with the likes of Muisala and Wirtz who are signifcantly technically better players. Both are unattainble but if they were availble this summer would push Doku further down. He has earnt another season but there is definetly room for improvement.

His touch is brilliant and he’s a great dribbler as well.

Don’t understand this criticism whatsoever.
I wouldn't call it brilliant. It is still inconsistent especially after his injury. His speed isn't in doubt although it isn't lightening quick. He can play both wings but he isn't comfortable on the right and more effective cutting in. He is more at the minute an impact sub. Finishing is erractic although he is in good company with the current players in the squad,.

You’re too critical, he’s 21 in his first season in a top league.

He brings something the rest of the squad and most other players in world football don’t have - the ability to beat a man in a packed defence 1v1 from a standing start.

I don’t think some of you appreciate how mad what he does is.

He shakes games up, just look at his impact last two games.

Finishing is crap agreed and his final ball is 50/50 good or bad.

Even if he somehow doesn’t improve, he’s getting paid 40k a week, he can stay as long as wants as long as he keeps doing what he’s doing.

Both of those players are central players or strive to be central players, like Foden.

Wouldn’t have any impact on Doku.

Age means nothing in terms of development. It didn't take Foden too long.

Both can play on the flanks as well centrally. Doku is showing signs he can work with Guardiola both Wirtz and Musiala seem they can fit in more smoothly than Doku

Doku has done great for his first season at just 21 years old. He is by far the most exciting player on the team and can really change the game. One of the very few players these days who can take defenders on and go past them. He could develop under Pep to become an absolute world beater. And this City clown now comes out with the comment that "he is still worth keeping"...shakes head in disbelief!!!.
