Doku is doing absolutely brilliant for his first season at just 21 years old. He is by far the most exciting player on the team and can really change the game. One of the very few players these days who can take defenders on and go past them. He could develop under Pep to become an absolute world beater. And this City clown now comes out with the comment that "he is still worth keeping"...shakes head in disbelief!!!.
It is a good season rather than a brilliant one especially with the injury distruption. He has earnt another season but there is still plenty of room for improvement.

What I don’t get about your posts is the quote “he’s earned another season” can you clarify what you mean by saying this..

Still can't really improve that much and what we are seeing his best which is still a little inconsisitent and it still a physical attribute.
Of course he can improve a lot on his deficiencies. Age is important I could point out plenty of players who kicked on a lot from 21. It’s important in his case that he’s still new to the league and working with Pep. He’s not particularly quick over 50 yards but his acceleration over a short distance is exceptional and can leave any fullback for dead. He’s got attributes you can’t teach and weaknesses that can definitely be improved upon.

Not having he can’t be comfortable on the right either. As against Villa in one of his very few starts there he was very good. I’m hoping Pep revisits that soon as that Villa game was as well balanced as we’ve looked in a good while with Grealish keeping the width and the ball on the left and Doku able to give us genuine width by going on the outside and able to pick someone out for his assist by being on his strong foot to play the cross in for Rodri. It certainly created much more space for Foden to do his thing in the middle. Agree his first touch could be improved and lately it has been better.

Probably trying to wind up some people.
I don't think he's serious. Well, unless he refuses to celebrate next time Doku scores a banger.
Not a wind up he is a good player but I wouldn't call world class either. You could argue the same with the Erling Haaland thread

Other than the Villa game opposition defenders are more comfortable when he does play on that side. He can definetly improve mentally and tactically when in that position but technically he is more comfortbally on the left side
