Exciting! Very early indeed, but i haven't seen a city player that dangerous on 1v1. Sane as brilliant as he was, was more of a counter attacking player and not as good of a dribbler in tight spaces. Doku is more of a vinicious junior type winger which i think we lacked since the takeover, not that it turned bad for us. Again as i've said it is very early to judge but the signs are there. Hope it's the start of something special!

He played very well today, once pep has worked on his decisions in the final third then I can see him being immense for us.

He will also have to work on his defensive side, like Grealish does.

Overall two games in and looks promising
Like someone stated on Bluemoon he reminded him of Peter Barnes with pace. Great comparison.

Given what Guardiola said about instructing him to stay higher up the park to receive the ball, then that might have influenced his defensive duties. Irrespective, if it’s going to take 2-3 players to close him down, then others will inevitably be free.

Wtf does raw mean? I don't remember Ferran Torres, Palmer or Alvarez being labelled as that early in their City careers. Its a bullshit term.

I see a clearly refined player in Doku who knows when to take on the full back, when to retain and recycle possesion, that was a highly technical run and finish which most wingers in the PL can't execute. He's grasped the Pep system within two games now he needs to continue learning and improving.

Top class young talent. Humble and ambitious.

We've got something special here and I hope he keeps playing to his strengths.

As soon as we switched up the pace of our passing then played him in it was curtains for the defenders.

The Sterling comparisons were obvious due to the position they play and their acceleration over 10 yards. But this kid seems to make better decisions, when to pass, when to dribble. And his dribbling technique/touch is way ahead of Raz.

Apart from one or two loose touches, thought he was excellent yesterday. Would've been easy for his head to go down after we conceded, but he was fearless and his decision making was really good. Great to have a player in the squad with such pace and always looking to take his man on, especially against a low block. Going to free up a lot for space for others too. Already looks a top signing.
