Jeremy Doku says he’s constantly learning and improving since his summer move to Manchester City.
The Belgian grabbed his first goal for the Club in
Saturday’s 3-1 victory over West Ham United, levelling the scores just 43 seconds after the restart.
It was an exciting indication of what the 21-year-old can offer under the watchful eye of
Pep Guardiola, building on a promising debut against Fulham before the international break.
But Doku’s focus is on what he can do to take his game to the next level, highlighting the importance of taking lessons from his own performances.
“I keep on learning - every training session and game,” he explained following City’s win over the Hammers.
“From the last game [Fulham] I learned that you have to be calm.
“The massive thing is to not lose the ball - I can still improve on that, even today.
“It’s about being calm on the ball and having confidence and I want to keep improving on that but today was a success.”

Pace, trickery, and a clinical finish; Doku’s first City goal demonstrated why he's considered one of the most exciting young talents in European football.
And the Belgian revealed what he remembers from the strike, expressing his personal delight after opening his account for the Club.
He also provided an insight into what his first few weeks have been like turning out for
Pep Guardiola’s men.

Doku said: “It’s a pleasure. I like to play with them [City team-mates] of course. On TV they are very good but in real life they are even better.
“We started from the back, built up and looked for the free man - [Julian] Alvarez and he looks for me.
“I try to keep the ball moving, accelerate and go one v one and I decided to shoot.
“I’m telling it like it’s easy but it’s not. It was a nice goal.”
