Nah it isn't that deep. It's just commonly thrown at young players, particularly attackers. Usually isn't even an overly critical thing either. Just people trying to temper expectations for whatever reason. Maybe just to stop themselves from getting carried away? Dunno. Either way I've heard it a billion times for players of every ethnicity. Brahim Diaz was a good example. A young attacker.

Not really it's very common to see black or African players as purely physical assets and European or white players as more intelligent. This way of thinking is rooted in eugenics. His pace ( or quickness to be more accurate) is real. And it isn't racial when referenced. No one references Akanji or Rico's pace and they too are black.
Stop finding racism where none exists. It's annoying.
