Didn't play too well first half and missed a decent chance. Improved 2nd half but doesn't look as effective on the right. Hopefully will grow into it though as he'd be a useful option on that side.

His stamina is pretty poor for a youngster.

We’ll train him better to allow him to last longer.
 
Moments of quality, but equally as many moments of frustration.

Really needs to iron out his timing and quality of delivery, as there were times where a first time ball should have gone in, but he wanted to take touches.

Great ball in for Haaland which he should have scored, but we need more of that.

He is 21 and coming in to a new team and league. It will take time and of course there will be elements of frustration. I don’t think anyone expected him to feature this much so early in the season.

Sprinting repeatedly is hard. It’s why his takeons per 90 is so superb.

What it means though is that he has to recover more if he keeps that level up.

Pep will find his balance.

Fully agree. I used to sprint as a kid, high intensity bursts are impossible to do for the full 90 alone without the intense off the ball work expected of him on top of that. As you say, pep will find the balance eventually.

You quoted me in the grealish thread where all i I said about grealish was that he played well but had to score that chance. Didn't mention doku at all but you quoted me and mentioned doku.

You've then come in doku's thread and quoted my post in here which again didn't mention grealish to continue whatever point you were attempting to make in grealish's thread here.

If you're point is not to compare the two, youre doing a dreadful job of making it and youve done the exact opposite.

maybe you should start taking your own advice and not bring up the other

It was aimed at you, not the players. You posted on the Grealish thread he should have scored without really going into detail that overall he was very good. On this thread you praised Doku and didn’t mention he should have scored a much easier chance.
It is what it is. I’m not going back and forth, both should have scored, both are quality, we are a lucky lucky fanbase.

Theres only one person here who is bringing up others players outside of their specific thread and it aint me...

For the record, I said grealish was better today in his thread and i didn't even praise doku in here, as you claim. I also didnt mention doku's chance because he very clearly slipped as he shot.

So you don't think the soaking wet plastic pitch would impact the players who rely on agility and tight touches more heavily than anybody? I made the same "excuse" for rico lewis too who's game also involves tight touches and turns, is that an anti-walker post?
