I dont think Doku was anywhere near top speed when he was chasing Coufal. Conditioning is probably the reason.Hmm, that’s a bit concerning as Coufal is hardly quick.
I get Doku has explosive acceleration though.

I did have a quick look at top speeds and Doku isn’t that quick. Grealish is quicker than him, as a direct comparison.I dont think Doku was anywhere near top speed when he was chasing Coufal. Conditioning is probably the reason.
His quick feet, acceleration and manipulation of the ball means he’s away before defenders can get set.

Agreed. His top recorded speed is higher than that of Coufal!He should still be able to catch Coufal though!!
There really isn't much to agree to disagree on.'racially inclined' also known as a person of colour haha. Can't be arsed engaging with a lot of that so wel agree to dis agree.
He’s not that fast over a big distance. Absolutely electric off the mark though which is the most important thing when trying to open up parked buseswas just about to post the same mate! Absolutely electric off the mark but when he had gone past the defender and had open field didnt seem able to burst away and didnt look that quick in a straight line? Absolutely brilliant start for him at the club though and hopefully improved fitness will lead to him being able to sprint away into open field
