I think Doku is brilliant personally.

In terms of a pure winger. His stats are top drawer. The dribbles , the carries , 1v1’s there’s probably nobody better.

He is a frightening force for defenders. I think he’s a massive part of our future.

I go back to our signing of him being a major moment in that it set back Grealish's development and confidence just as he was on a high. It changed the treble winning tactics and strategy totally. There were other priorities we failed to address. We went from controlled possession, probing and tiring the opposition out to relinquishing possession and open games with little control
He's obviously a v good player and yes we get the odd/rare bit of old fashioned exciting wing play - but at a cost.
I can only think Pep wanted to try something totally new and a challenge - a move away from the set up that was dominating World football.

We do struggle against low block teams. With his pace it is something that gives us a different dimension to our attack.
