We keep buying wingers who can't score individual goals.
Agree. I think we're looking for bargains and are willing to take a risk - trouble is, we end up starting those bargains and we're punished as the opposition is much better. We keep buying wingers who can't score individual goals.
Doku is in fact a problem.Again he isn't a problem. Although he isn't lightening quick, he is explosive and does offer a direct option that we don't have in the side. Injuries and decision making is currently the only minor issues.
I totally disgaree. Even against better opposition he gives them something to think about.Doku is in fact a problem.
When Doku starts, he is taking the place of a potentially good winger who, in Doku's place, would have assisted more and scored more. Doku is squad-player-level currently - and when we start him against top sides, we're starting a squad player against better opposition - disadvantage City.
To be fair we did have one in Palmer. We also had Mahrez. Our current wingers don’t really offer much and aren’t as good.We keep buying wingers who can't score individual goals.

Both Palmer and especially Mahrez can score individual goals. Mahrez alone would guarantee 15 goals and 10 assists in all competitions. Grealish and Doku combined don't generate such numbers. To be fair we did have one in Palmer. We also had Mahrez. Our current wingers don’t really offer much and aren’t as good.
Savio's assist rate is actually fine, just needs to be better at finishing chances. He's still only 20 years old.For both Doku and Savio it really is quite a simple fix.
Up your goals and assists 2/3 fold , the sooner the better.
