It was an absolute beauty. The guy has world-class potential. That is two games on the run that Doku has won for us. What a pass that was.
Bad first touch where?Bad first touch meant he could beat his man...but that ball across and his decisiveness was a very brief breath of fresh air.
Ha. I don't care, I'm happy!!!Bad first touch where?
It must be a nightmare for right backs seeing him coming on when City are chasing a game. There are certain situations he is ideal for and tonight was one of them.
Hes a player who improvises and causes chaos. Glad to see him mastering the trivela. Its a big weapon for Vini, could be for him too.Bad first touch where?
The reason he could play it was because the defence hadn't set but was backtracking. Quite a different scenario than where they have parked the bus and facing away from goal.He finally played a different ball than the one he normally plays, outside of the boot between the keeper and the defenders and thankfully Nunes followed and scored, usually he plays it to the front post for opposing defenders, glad he changed it this time.
I think it depends on his teammates and coach. He's incredible at what he does, he needs more movement in the boxDoku did it for us this evening. I am just wondering how he can develop his game further. He can beat any number of 1 or 2 and sometimes 3 players in a dribbling situation, but how does he get the end product to something more consistent? Or is he always destined to be an impact/roll the dice player?
If only he had potential and wasn’t about 32!He is a brilliant impact sub, not good enough to be starting games but what a threat to bring on.
