First hour did absolutely nothing.. Then last 30 started getting past his fullback which is great to watch but then it's followed by 0 chances created and 0 shots.. it's all for nothing. He could be incredible but the footballing brain just not near the level of his dribbling..

He was good first half whenever he had it and played some good passes

Fucked up seconf half when Haaland was running through and Doku chose not to pass to him. Other than that, he's our only player who regularly beats his marker. Not his fault Haaland and Marmoush never vary their runs into the box - what do they work on in training ?
It doesn't matter if he can beat his man if it doesn't lead to anything. And it never does.

There’s quite obviously a player there, few people saying he was good today which I absolutely did not see whatsoever. Thought he was awful, can beat a man no problem, his final decision making is dogshit. Topped off with Haaland making a darting run in second half, easy pass to make, decided to ignore it and took the easy option.

He’s still very raw, same with Savinho, you can tell with the pair of them they can be unreal if they improve a couple of things.

the amount of shit Sterling got over the years and he scored 130 (?) goals and 50-60 assists for City over 7 seasons.

I think if Savinho and Doku both stay 7 years at City which is unlikely they still wont get that output combined together.
Revisionism bollocks.

Who created the chance in the first half that Haaland git high into the rafters?

How about the pass that ended up between Haaland and Marmoush?

The claim that he never finds anyone with his crosses is a bit of bullshit.

Some of the problem is with how we play. We build slowly, which allows so many of their players to get back easily. By the time Doku gets the ball and beats his man to yhe line, there are 6 defenders in the box and only 2 forwards. One of them heading to the back post, always!

Its not as easy to find an option in that scenario..

I think Doku is fantastic. If he were playing for Brighton today and skinning our defenders like he was skinning theirs. He'd have ,4 assists with the number bot players they tend to get in our box when attacking and how fre we have defending.

There were many problems today, Doku wasn't one of them

It would help that when he beats his fullback. The other fuckers took a chance on a cross or a pass. They are all sat there watching him.

Yeah his crosses and shots can be wayward, nobody is perfect but the lad is being let down a lot this year.

Do they also get to play with prime Silva, De Bruyne, Gündy, Bernardo, Kun etc or nah?

He has had nearly 2 full seasons with us now and I can’t see a single area he’s improved in.

I didn’t think he was good enough last season and my opinion has only been reinforced by what I’ve seen this season.

I wonder if we could sell him to Arsenal…

Surprised Pep's not told him to cut inside and shoot, or dribble at the gker to win a possible PK.
