In pretty much every list of successful dribblers he's at or near the top. If he's still got the ball when he's beaten a player, and he regularly does that as well as anyone else about, then he had control of the ball. If your suggestion is that he's lucky to still have the ball, as he wasn't in control of it, then he should just sit at home and play the lottery, because his luck apparently beats nearly every other world class dribbler.

Other areas of his game are nowhere near this level, but it's hardly controversial to say he's one of the best dribblers, and has a say in being the best.

His name shouldn't even be thought of when mentioning SWP, Leroy Sane, Raheem Sterling or Riyad Mahrez.

I can't believe fans' expectations have actually dropped so low to think Doku and Savinho are 'City quality'.

This. SWP, Sane and Mahrez were all ruthless finishers in their early 20’s. Doku and Savinho are miles off, hopefully Sav can improve his shooting and he can be in that list but I’m not seeing it with Doku
 
I think Doku might be playing for the "wrong" team. When he beats a man he inevitably has a packed penalty area to try to cross into.

In a team that have more space to attack his effectiveness would increase.

I don't think we saw Mahrez play for City in the way that he did for Leicester but he was able to adapt his game to be effective for us.
 
Raz now being called a prolific finisher epitomises what the problem is. Here, despite his excellence, Raz was derided as utterly wasteful, just as Jeremy now is being. We don't know we are born...seriously!

Sterling is number 5 on our top ever league goal scorers, where do you think Doku will finish?

I don't think Doku will ever be that footballer some think he can be.

Good players can play in any system.

Savio to be fair to him is still only 20, was in a La Liga team of the season last year at the expense of a Rodrygo, Lamal and Raphina, and has some good numbers this season.

I would argue as a winger, Savio has been amongst the more successful for a first season under Pep.

The biggest concern I have with Doku is his compatibility with Haaland. He has 4 goal contributions in 2 seasons thus far. They are not compatible in any way.

Savio already has 7.

Haaland seems bewildered every time Doku beats someone and fires in a near post cross. So someone is doing their job wrong.

Haaland never attacks it but Doku keeps putting it there. So what is the tactic supposed to be.
