Thought he was poor for him in the first half, excellent second half, think the midfield was the problem yesterday, never seen us so overrun in the first 15 minutes, think Southampton were testing our nerve after the derby defeat

If I remember correctly Saints also pressed the shit out of us for the first 10-15 minutes earlier in the season and caused us to turn the ball over way more than usual, until Rodri got a handle on things

In the first half when we played out from the back it was only Dinho. That coupled with the fact that Walker isn't particularly good on the ball led to losing possession. In the 2nd half Gundo dropped deeper with Dinho which gave us more options to play out easier and if Southampton tried to mark Gundo, that left space open elsewhere. Pep said this as well saying we changed to a double pivot in the 2nd half.

Say what you want about him but I like the fact that he’s happy to be at the club (his presser for the champs league) despite all the talk of a move in the past. The lad loves it here. He’s not playing in his ideal position but that doesn’t seem to bother him.

Not sure if that’s best for him but he definitely has the club at heart.

Probably picked him as he can speak several languages.
As we have no idea where we are playing or what country our plane landing in for the Monchengladbach fixture its handy to have someone who can speak Romanian, Hungarian, Bulgarian or the language ofany country that has cities starting with Bu......
Although it sounds like it should Birmingham does not begin with Bu......
Hopefully some is tracking the flight path to make sure we don't end up in Burundi

This gave me a good chuckle.

Well, that's the last time he does a presser. Didn't anyone tell See we don't talk about the quadruple? Any question about the Quadruple should be answered by trying to win the next game...

Zinchy was all like "yeah! Why not. Bayern did it!"

Pep looked positively annoyed a few minutes later as some journo tried to use Zees answer to goad Pep. :)

Fair play to him, speaks his mind and full of enthusiasm/optimism.

He seems a natural leader type, who will probably make a good manager.
