Gonna hold on till they announce later trains, if not we're thinking about staying over.

And while you're thinking about that, the prices for hotels are going up n up.

This is from the Wembley Stadium website:
Please note this match is subject to extra time and penalties if the score remains even at full time. The match could therefore finish approx 1 hour and 45 mins after kick off (if complete in 'normal' time), 2 hours and 20 mins after kick off (if extra time is played) or up to 2 hours and 50 mins after kick off (if extra time and penalties are required).
so worse case is 8:05pm finish before they get round to handing over the trophy and associated celebrations. It's going to be getting on for 9 pm getting out, say 8.45pm, followed by the Wembley Park tube crawl.

Have a look on sites like booking.com. You don't pay until you check in and many of them can be cancelled without any penalty if you give 24 hrs notice. Best to get a place sorted now before the prices shoot through the roof and then cancel later if you don't need it. And look anywhere in North London, you don't necessarily need to stay near Wembley.

Absolute bollocks. Still have a open return back to Liverpool, last train is 8.11. Inevitably will have to buy another return to/from Manchester, and hope they put some extra trains on. Oh well hopefully it's a party atmosphere after a famous victory.

The FA cup should be the last game of the season
A week after premier league has finished
It was special when it had its own day

it cant be the week after, the champs league is played that weekend, and the pitch has to have had no games for 2 weeks

Park near a North London Tube Station on a direct line into Wembley.

Tubes run around every 15 mins and get you out of London quickly and straight on the M1.
