if we win tonight we will be 16 points ahead with united only able to get 18 points
if united lose then they would only be able to get 15 points,
if they draw they will only be able to get 16 points


we will get beat tonight and united will win tomorrow

so it will be 10 points in front with 5 to play

I am with you and bert on this Roachy, hard to shake indeed. Even my housemate has said "why are you shaking your head" a few times this week when making a brew or whatnot and it was me thinking over that match without realizing it, wounded.

Like you say though, big effort and win tonight will certainly help.

Dead right mate. You should never give a rat a chance to live, and we have. With Sergio now out for an undetermined period, we only need an injury to Jesus and suddenly we haven’t got a forward for the most crucial part of the season.

Its still annoying, and it will be even more annoying if we lose today, which is probably going to happen, but at the end of the day the league is still going to be won and the points record is still very much on the table too, which will ensure this team goes down in history as one of the best ever.

And they're at Bournemouth on wednesday night. It could easily be down to 7 points by 10 o'clock that night (albeit we'll have a game in hand on them).
